DIY: MACRAME PLANTHANGER | PLANT HANGER TUTORIAL | EASY MACRAME

I am very excited to share with you this beautiful planthanger tutorial. It may look difficult/complicated, but I assure you it’s not! I always make sure to tape up the ends of your 3ply cords so they don’t unravel while working with them. The only knots used are one gathering knot, and the Square Knots/Alternating Square Knots. If you are new to macrame and don’t know, or need extra help with those knots, please watch this video before you begin:

Here is a link to the 5mm, 3 ply rope I used:

This planthanger measures 39in/100cm in length.

*** IF THE VIDEO IS TOO FAST YOU CAN ADJUST THE PLAYBACK SPEED BY TAPPING THE 3 DOTS ON THE RIGHT OF YOUR SCREEN. ***

Here is exactly what I used:
-scotch tape to tape the ends
– 5mm, 3 ply rope cut to the following lengths:
– 1 x 2ft/61cm
– 6 x 10ft/305cm
– 2.25in/6cm wooden ring. I don’t have a link, but there are plenty on Amazon.
